    Fascinating documentary on legendary American photo-journalist W. Eugene Smith, famous for almost bankrupting Magnum with his Pittsburgh project in the 1950’s. In nine mini-episodes on youtube, this is an interesting portrait of a very complex man.

    There is an amazing photo-book cafe in Haundae beach called Cafe Luca. The owner is a curator of a nearby gallery and has his book collection open for cafe customers to browse through. It was really enjoyable viewing Winogrand, Bresson, and Friendlander prints off the page, instead of the monitor. I have been getting really keen on printing more often. It seems like analogue needs to be printed to be appreciated. With winter crushing in, I hope I can get some time in at the local darkroom.
